Thank you to all 3960 party goers who attended and worked at the Electronic Music Festival Oct  24 & 25th who came for the music, dancing, light shows and fun.
We did get some bad press about the event. We heard there were a few arrests over the two days at the cave.  The balance would have been at the parking lot, in the hotels, and on the adjoining streets. Kudos to the Festus & Crystal City police & the Jefferson County Sheriffs Dept. There are always people
who
push the limits.  We never condone drug use or underage drinking and do not allow smoking/tobacco inside the cave. There is a smoking area outside. The estimate is over $500,000  was spent in the community at local hotels, gas stations, convenience stores and restaurants.

Come watch the Blues or Rams on our big screen TV's.

Initial Rendering of CCU's Master Vision
The CCU Complex Overview

CCU, a former sand mine, is located in Crystal City, Missouri and fronts Plattin Creek, within a mile of it's intersection with the Mississippi River. It is 6,000,000 million square feet  of enclosed underground climate-controlled space. Approximately 200 acres.  It has 30-40 ft. ceilings.  The facility was originally created as a by-product of a sand mining operation. Consequently, thick pillars were systematically cut out of the rock, forming a asymmetrical grid.

Our Vision is to become a cultural and convention facility with the most unique sports and recreational amenities ever conceived to compliment our proposed green industrial facility.  Space is/will be available to extreme, recreational and Olympic venue sports operators and green industrial users. The CCU Sports & Industrial complex will be designed to accommodate separate access and common areas for each use. The floor plan of the facility will allow for easy build-out for your sports training needs. We are currently accepting business plans for consideration. Contact Us for more information, or take a look at our Rental Rates.

Kentucky Exposition Center

Our project is being patterned after the Kentucky Exposition Center.  The facility supports over 7,000 jobs and boasts over 1,000,000 square feet.  It is very successful bringing millions of dollars of tax revenue into the community and hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue from out of state visitors, that attend hundreds of events annually.  It is one of the ten largest in the world.  Our project at minimum will be double the size when completed.  Please visit the Kentucky Exposition Center 's website and browse their events and financial statements to understand what Crystal City Underground can be with community support.  Their website is www.kyfairexpo.org.
